Pools is provided by Cipher Digital Developments ltd. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these terms in your country.
1. What Pools does
Pools is a social prediction app for creating questions, making picks with other people, discussing them and recording outcomes. Features may include Groups, invitations, reactions, reminders and results.
2. Use Pools responsibly
Use Pools only for lawful, good-natured social prediction. Do not create or join pools that encourage dangerous, exploitative, coercive or illegal behaviour. You are responsible for understanding and following the law that applies to you.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping linked sign-in credentials secure. Give us accurate information, do not impersonate anyone and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. Anonymous accounts may be difficult or impossible to recover unless you link a supported sign-in method.
4. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of content you create. You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, display and share that content only as needed to operate, protect and improve Pools. You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it follows these terms, our Community Guidelines and applicable law.
Pool creators are responsible for making questions, options and close times clear. Participants are responsible for checking those details before taking part.
5. Reports, restrictions and removal
We may investigate reports, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or end access when we reasonably believe it is needed to protect people, the service or legal rights. We may act without advance notice in urgent or serious cases.
6. Our service and intellectual property
Pools, its software, design, branding and original content belong to Cipher Digital Developments ltd. or our licensors. You may use the service only for personal, lawful purposes. Do not copy, sell, reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to Pools except where law expressly permits it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Pools reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, add, remove or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.
8. Responsibility
You use Pools at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, Pools is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for user-created content, personal arrangements, missed deadlines, lost opportunities or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Ending use
You can stop using Pools at any time and can start account deletion from Profile in the app. Sections that logically need to continue—such as intellectual property, responsibility and dispute terms—survive termination.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Irish law, while any mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply. Irish courts will have jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Questions can be sent to info@cipherdev.ie.
